Welcome

The Community Council need your feedback, so if there is anything which you feel we should know about, please let us know.

The aim of this website is to keep you informed of what is happening in the Community and what might affect you if you live in this part of Scotland.

Community Council meetings are held most months, so you can come along and let us know your views in person.  It is helpful if you let us know in advance.

Please email secretary@moorfoot.org.uk

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday every month (not January or July) at North Middleton, Temple or Carrington Village Halls, from 7pm to 9pm

Community Micro-Grants

Moorfoot-Grants-LogoDo you run a small group or club in the Moorfoot Community Council Area?

Do you need funding for a small project?

Moorfoot Community Council can now offer small grants to help you.

Moorfoot Community Council Micro-Grants are awarded 3 times yearly to groups in the Moorfoot area to benefit the Moorfoot Community. These grants are intended to help small projects that would not be able to qualify for grant programmes such as the Carcant Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund.

The process has been kept simple to reduce the administration involved – we just need to know what you want to do and who will benefit! Initially the grants are funded by the Community Council’s own reserves, but in future funds are likely to be further supported by the Carcant Wind Farm fund itself.

If you organise a club or community group in Moorfoot and have a project in mind, get in touch!Continue reading “Community Micro-Grants”
